BUDAPEST: CITY THAT DOES NOT SLEEP

12:01 PM

Have you even wondered if there exists a place where you can do whatever you want, the weather is always nice, the prices are low and the party never ends? I can confirm, Budapest is definitely the one. Here are useful tips and places worth going to:

1) SIGHTS:

- Budapest parliament (1750 HUF - 5,7 EUR | for the citizens of EU)
- Buda castle ( 1700 HUF - 5,6 EUR )
- Gellert's hill
- Chain bridge
-  St. Stephen's Basilica
- Great Market Hall
- Buda Old Town

2) CLUBS:- Szimpla Kert (place full of tiny pubs, one of the ruin pubs which are characteristic for Budapest)
-  Hello baby (club in the old tenement house will surprise you with its atmosphere and spontaneity)

3) TIPS:

I. DON'T BUY  public transport pass unless you are not a fan of walking. Even if the city seems immense, everything worth seeing isn't that far from each other. It will enable to see the city at its best without spending a large amount of money.

II. DON'T EXCHANGE too much money before arriving. The prices are so low that you probably will be spending less than estimated and back home it's not possible to exchange coins. Currency exchange offer fair exchange rate and some of them are open 24/7, so it's better to change when you will truly need it.

III. LOOK FOR HAPPY HOURS. If you are a fan of drinking the city won't disappoint you. Many bars offer so called "happy hours" when the prices can be even two times lower. And by saying lower I mean you can buy a decent drink for about 2 EUR. What surprised me the most was the fact that they last from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. I KNOW RIGHT?

IV. TRY HUNGARIAN KITCHEN. The city offers probably as many Italian restaurants as local ones. However Hungary offers some unique food, you won't try anywhere else. Curious thing is that you can buy it even in food trucks and you can't complain about the quality.

V. DON'T GO TO SLEEP. Well, you should go at all, however, the city atmosphere's at night is unforgettable. Take a stroll around the city and enjoy the climate.
